Position Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to take on a leadership role within our firm. This position is responsible for overseeing all phases of client engagements, ensuring quality service, and maintaining strong client relationships. You'll serve as a critical liaison between the partner team, clients, and our professional staff, all while upholding our firm's values and culture. This role operates with minimal supervision and includes supervisory and business development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain strong, ongoing client relationships throughout the year
Prepare and review engagement letters, communicating assignment details and fees
Oversee staff assignments and provide mentorship, fostering a collaborative team environment
Conduct evaluations on internal controls and risk assessments
Monitor engagement progress, ensuring timely completion within budget
Resolve engagement issues, offering solutions and keeping the Partner informed
Participate in business development initiatives and foster the firm's professional image in the community

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
Active Louisiana CPA license required
5-10 years of related experience, ideally within public accounting
Proven business development abilities and strong client management skills
