Title: Bakery Maintenance Engineer

Hourly Pay: $39.38 - $54.50

Shifts are allocated through the union bidding process.
Union membership is required within 30 days of hire.
Prior experience in maintaining production line equipment and facilities is preferred.

Founded in 1906, we have become one of the countries most successful bakeries, employing over 4,000 employees and distributing throughout multiple states. We're happy to be adding a Maintenance Engineer to one of our bakeries in Seattle.

What You Will Be Doing

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of all bakery equipment, including production, mechanical, and electrical components.
Ensure equipment productivity to minimize downtime or malfunctions.
Work safely ad efficiently, complying with federal and state requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed, including work orders, maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance.
Prepare specific and accurate parts request forms.
Respond to maintenance and line stoppage calls with urgency and ownership.
Provide quick and efficient emergency repairs.
Display initiative in recognizing work to be done and makes recommendations to the Chief Engineer.

What You Need for this Position

Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic experience.
Skill in diagnosing and repairing equipment.
Previous experience in maintaining production line equipment and facilities.
Must join the union within 30 days of hire.
PLC is a PLUS
