Our very own Chief Technology Officer Matt Miller has been selected to speak at Start-up Week 2014 at Penn State University, from which Miller is alumni. Hosted by the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), Start-Up Week has grown to become a powerful celebration of young entrepreneurship and a platform to showcase the wealth of possibilities existing for enterprising IST students.
“It’s such an honor to have the opportunity to revisit Penn State and speak with these young innovators,” said Miller, CTO. “Watching these entrepreneurs focused on the future disruption of the ever-changing tech industry is truly inspiring.”
For the past two years, Start-up Week has drawn respected speakers from around the country whose companies stand at the forefront of today’s technology market, including Reddit, CareerBliss, Sincerely and Weebly. By connecting students with access to these kinds of visionaries, the hope is that they will leave with inspiration and be encouraged to embrace opportunities on a broader scale in the pursuit of their chosen career paths.
