Recruiter Spotlight: Reed Kellick Named Rookie of the Quarter

Faster than the average, Kellick's talents have been recognized with the coveted Rookie of the Quarter award last month.

Reed, tell us about an awesome placement you recently made:

I was recruiting candidates on LinkedIn for a Java role on the east coast and an engineer responded with “I’m not looking, but my team is hiring for this skillset. Let me hook you up with my manager.” I got on a quick call with the manager and realized he headed up the internal development for an executive search firm.

I thought that a recruiting firm would never want to utilize another agency to fill their positions, but I ended up making two placements with them!

Awesome! What motivates you to go above and beyond?

I have a ton of student loan debt from UCSD and law school, so I want to work extremely hard to pay that off ASAP.

I also left my last recruiting position right before I had the chance to be promoted, so I came to CyberCoders with the goal of kicking butt and getting into management.
