We have been apart of the food and beverage industry for over 100 years and take pride in providing the highest quality product. We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our dedicated and hard-working team. This position will be responsible for leading the payroll process for approximately 300+ employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews employees time punch's and schedules on a daily basis
- Reviews time punch report and compares with payroll report for inaccuracies
- Corrects any inaccuracies prior to payroll being transmitted
- Reviews inaccuracies between time punch and payroll report with the Supervisor responsible
- Responsible for entering all hourly new hire employee changes, and voluntary deductions in the payroll system
- Prepare and process hourly and salaried bi-weekly payrolls
- Calculate new hire pay, termination pay, and any required adjustment to normal pay
- Calculate bonuses as requested
- Ensure that computing, withholding, and deductions are done correctly
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance preferred, but not required
- Proficient in ADP or other payroll systems
- 10-key by touch
- 2-3 years experience in Payroll
- Strict confidentiality a must
- Excellent computer competence (outlook, word, PowerPoint, excel, access)
- Must be able to handle several priorities at one time
- Strong customer focus mind-set
- Solid leadership and influencing skills
- Friendly, results oriented, and collaborative
