Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney
Salary: $125,000-250,000/yr + bonus
Location: REMOTE
Respected law firm based in Los Angeles is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join their litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law. In the role, can expect to focus on cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other misc. personal injury cases.
This is a remote position, though ability to travel for cases is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for cases
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court hearings and trials
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in CA
- 3+ years of experience practicing personal injury law, preferably with an emphasis on motor vehicle accidents
- Strong understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to personal injury
- Proven track record of successful case outcomes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software
