Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer with experience in the plastics industry to join our team. As a Process Engineer in our company, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing plastic molding processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of injection molding techniques, as well as a thorough knowledge of quality standards and lean manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve plastic molding processes to meet quality standards and production goals.
- Conduct process validation studies and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, including training for injection molding technicians.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and participate in quality audits.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify potential process improvements.
- Identify and implement lean manufacturing techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Work closely with suppliers to select and evaluate raw materials for optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Process Engineer in the plastics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of plastic molding processes and techniques, including injection molding.- Strong understanding of quality standards, including ISO 9001.
- Experience with mold design and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them.
