My client, a leader in the food/beverage industry is on the hunt for a Regional Foodservice Sales Manager. The Southwest Regional Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving the company sales and customer service goals and initiatives, focusing on expanding market presence across various trade channels including foodservice distribution, regional and national restaurant chains, co-packing, private labels, contract manufacturing, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
-Establish company as a prominent partner in the foodservice space
-Prioritize new account acquisition while maintaining existing account relationships, dedicating 80% of time to fieldwork. Current market sales are in AZ, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and CA.
-Foster strong ties with foodservice distribution partners, regional chains, and explore opportunities in hospitality, education, healthcare, government sectors, and beyond.
-Develop efficient processes for identifying sales opportunities and collaborating with local distributors.
-Conduct product training sessions for distributor sales representatives on a regular basis.
-Facilitate communication between clients and senior management to address product needs and explore business opportunities.
-Formulate and execute regional business plans, driving profitable growth through strategic sales initiatives and effective marketing spend allocation.

Job Qualifications - Education and Experience:
-Position to be based out of either Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV.
-Active Southwest territory knowledge and established base of contacts.
-MUST BE detailed oriented, organized, and able to work independently with little supervision.
-MUST BE a true sales hunter, road warrior, and CLOSER.
-MUST HAVE in depth working knowledge and experience with foodservice distributors such as Shamrock, Sysco, PFG, Nicholas, and U.S. Foodservice)
-5 to 7 years of sales management experience, preferably with a heavy background in Foodservice distribution, regional chain sales, Broker management
-Proven track record in B2B sales, including cold calling and market growth.
-In-depth knowledge of chain sales and regional distribution networks.
-Familiarity with local chain and distribution partners in the Southwest region.
-Detail-oriented and self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Business Central is advantageous.
-Valid US Driver's License, Clean Driving Record, Reliable Transportation, and Full Auto Insurance Coverage required.
-Capability to be on the road up to 80% of the time and travel via automobile or airplane
