Senior Tax Accountant

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert tax advice, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations while optimally managing tax liabilities for our clients. This role involves working with individual, corporate, and partnership taxes, as well as trust and foreign tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and compliance services for various entities including corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Advise clients on federal, state, and foreign tax matters to optimize tax liabilities.
• Stay updated on tax regulations and legislation changes to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice.
• Conduct research on tax issues and prepare memos outlining findings and recommendations.
• Assist in the audit process by providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of tax services and client satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and OCBOA.
• Experience with individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax preparation and compliance.
• Familiarity with audit processes and requirements.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
