An innovative communications and collaboration company is seeking a skilled SolarWinds Administrator on a long-term contract basis in Plano, TX. This role offers the opportunity to manage and optimize SolarWinds environments, ensuring efficient monitoring and management of IT infrastructure.
Offer:
$55-$65 per hour, contingent on experience
Flexible contract duration with potential for extension
Opportunities to work on cutting-edge IT infrastructure projects
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a SolarWinds Administrator or in a similar role
Proficiency in configuring and managing SolarWinds modules (e.g., NPM, SAM, NTA, IPAM, etc.)
Strong understanding of network protocols, systems administration, and monitoring best practices
Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning of SolarWinds environments
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team
Relevant certifications (e.g., SolarWinds Certified Professional) are a plus
Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SolarWinds environments to monitor network and system performance
Implement and customize dashboards, alerts, and reports for system health and performance
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SolarWinds tools with existing infrastructure
Analyze and resolve technical issues related to SolarWinds monitoring tools
Optimize system performance through regular updates, patching, and best practices
Provide training and documentation to IT staff on SolarWinds usage and capabilities
Ensure the security and reliability of SolarWinds deployments
