Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Position Overview
We are a young commercial roofing specialist who is poised to see significant growth over the next year. We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee and manage roofing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a thorough understanding of commercial roofing systems and installation processes. Must have experience in commercial roofing and a huge plus if you also have solar experience!

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations on commercial roofing projects, ensuring schedules are met and work is completed on time
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and on-site labor to maintain project flow
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control
Review project plans and specifications to ensure proper implementation of designs
Maintain documentation related to project progress, including daily reports and compliance checklists
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address project needs and concerns
Train and mentor junior staff and laborers in roofing techniques and safety protocols
Assist in estimating and budgeting for roofing projects

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Roofing Superintendent or similar role in commercial roofing
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing materials, systems, and installation techniques
Familiarity with solar roofing systems is a plus
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in roofing or construction management preferred
