Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Technical Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with GLSL, Python, C++, and Unity to support our production pipeline and help deliver high-quality, visually stunning projects. As a Pipeline Technical Artist, you will work closely with our development and art teams to optimize and streamline our production process, ensuring the smooth delivery of assets and content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tools and scripts using GLSL, Python, and C++ to improve the efficiency and functionality of our production pipeline.
- Collaborate with artists and developers to identify and solve technical challenges related to asset creation, management, and delivery.
- Create and maintain documentation for pipeline tools and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to asset creation, rendering, and integration into the game engine.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and proactively suggest new tools or workflows to improve our pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in GLSL, Python, and C++, with experience in Unity preferred.
- Knowledge of 3D graphics and animation principles, as well as experience with game development pipelines.
- Familiarity with rendering techniques and shader programming.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with artists and developers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for video games and a desire to constantly learn and improve.
