We are seeking an attorney with 4 to 6 years of experience in real estate and commercial finance law to work in one of the most exciting, active and diverse real estate and finance practices in the region!
Job Responsibilities:
-Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, briefs, motions, and other court filings.
-Assist in managing client matters, including preparing for and attending hearings, depositions, and trials.
-Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
-Provide clients with legal advice under the guidance of senior attorneys, ensuring thorough and accurate information is provided.
-Assist with case strategy and trial preparation, including preparing discovery documents and evidence.
-Attend client meetings, conferences, and collaborate with team members to move cases forward.
Requirements:
-3+ years of legal experience with a J.D. or equivalent degree and real estate experience
-Excellent writing and analytical skills.
-Be proactive and self-starting.
-Experience representing sellers and buyers, borrowers, lenders and preferred equity investors in connection with sales, acquisitions, construction and permanent financing, and preferred equity investments and debt restructurings. Experience with CMBS loans a plus.
-Admitted to PA Bar or will take Bar exam promptly after starting.
