We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring that bids are competitive and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Review and analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Conduct takeoffs to quantify materials and labor needed for projects.
- Prepare and submit bids, including pricing breakdowns and scope of work.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from clients and contractors.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Maintain organized records of estimates and bid documentation.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction.
- Strong proficiency in takeoffs and blueprint reading.
- Excellent estimating skills with a track record of successful bids.
- Understanding of RFI processes and requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
