Job Title: Sr. Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
Job Location: Artesia, CA
Salary: $80k-$115K DOE
ABOUT US:
Join one of Southern California's premier general contractors as a Project Engineer. You will play a crucial role in helping us take on our growing pipeline and will have opportunities for advancement.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Assist Project Manager on subcontracts, process RFI's, submittals, and change orders
- Evaluate construction methods, materials & labor requirements
- Determine cost-effectiveness of plans
- Prepare and submit detailed budget estimates and cost tracking reports to PM
- Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with codes and regulations
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience as a project engineer with a general contractor for commercial construction
- Nice To Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or related field.
- Healthcare, Public Works, or Educational experience
