The Electrical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair equipment as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems.
- Assist in the installation of electrical components and systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians to improve operational processes and implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Support the development and implementation of value propositions for equipment upgrades.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Familiarity with PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting is beneficial.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
- Certification or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
Pay: $27hr-$32hr
