For better or worse, Twitter is where many of us get our news these days. Whether it’s breaking news, political news or job search tips, the ability to curate your Twitter account and personalize your feed just makes sense. If you’re looking to keep up with latest tech news and trends, from tech titans to tech journalists, Twitter has you covered.
Here’s a round-up of just some of the Twitter tech accounts you should be following. Pro Tip: look to see who they follow for even more ideas on who to have in your Twitter stream.
For the latest no-nonsense tech news, Kara Swisher’s Twitter feed is not to be missed. She’s well known for her interviews with tech titans such as Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg at the Code conference she co-founded and asks the tough questions others shy away from. Between Space X, Tesla and The Boring Company, we can’t imagine @ElonMusk ever being bored. Luckily, the inventor of this Twitter parody account can. @BoredElonMusk’s tweets are described as “thoughts and inventions from Elon in his downtime” and they are both brilliant and spot on. While some make fun of recent tech innovations, other are life hacks that actually make sense. Here are a few we wish were real:
“App that answers the waiter for you when they ask "how everything is" right when you have a mouthful of food.”
“Reverse sunglasses that brighten up your surroundings during the winter when you get utterly depressed from 4:30PM sundowns.”
“Service that lets you subscribe sales people to 1000 email lists they never asked to be on.”
