Position Overview
The Maintenance/Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and engineering functions of the facility. This role ensures that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently while leading a team to implement best practices in maintenance and engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering team to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Oversee PLC programming and troubleshoot issues related to Allen Bradley systems.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure maintenance schedules align with production needs.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facility systems and equipment.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation for maintenance and engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance and engineering management.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and Allen Bradley systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
