Property Manager - Commercial Real Estate
Position Overview
The Property Manager - Capital Improvement will oversee and manage capital improvement projects for our commercial real estate portfolio. This role involves coordinating with contractors, ensuring compliance with budgets, and maintaining the quality of our properties to enhance their value and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of capital improvement projects from planning to execution.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess needs for improvements.
- Collaborate with the property management team to align capital improvements with operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards during project execution.
- Prepare reports on project status and performance for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or capital improvement roles.
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation preferred.
- Proficiency in Yardi or other property management software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
