Ensures the Quality Management System conforms to customer and safety programs to meet regulatory guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain, monitor, and verify the effectiveness of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Set quality assurance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.
- Develop annual audit schedule and perform internal audits.
- Host annual surveillance and recertification audits with Registrar.
- Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Initiate new SOPs when appropriate. Manage the SOP process and adherence to current SOPs.
- Review and approve Work Instructions (WI). Initiate new WIs when appropriate. Manage the WI process and adherence to current WI's.
- Issue and verify all internal Corrective Actions.
- Implement and document Opportunity for Improvement projects.
- Ensure customer complaints are processed and completed in a timely manner.
- Disposition nonconforming material to eliminate the detected nonconformity.
- Create and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
- Monitor performance by gathering relevant data.
- Conduct management review meetings.
- Process monthly failure data analysis.
- Maintain Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Maintain calibration of equipment schedule.
- Train managers and employees in the Quality Programs, backup support for Environmental Programs.
- Internal auditor of ISO 9001 System.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree with 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or up to 5 years of experience in a Quality role.
