Senior Tax Accountant
Oxnard, CA (Hybrid Remote)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations for on the federal and state level.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individual, corporations, partnerships, trusts, etc
- Stay current with tax codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Utilize ProSystems and other accounting software for tax preparation and reporting
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax matters
- Assist in resolving tax-related issues and inquiries from clients and tax authorities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tax return preparation and knowledge of tax codes
- 2+ Years working in a CPA Firm
- Proficiency in tax software, particularly ProSystems, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
