Sr Solutions Specialist (Pre-Sales Networking, Arista / Aruba)
160k-200k base + uncapped commission
Location: 1-3 days a week in-office (either in Irvine or San Francisco - whichever one you're closer to), the rest of the week is either remote or on client site.
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr Solutions Specialist with expertise in Pre-Sales Networking, specifically with Arista and Aruba technologies. This role will focus on providing technical solutions and support to our sales team and clients, ensuring that our networking products meet customer needs and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking and data center solutions, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored networking solutions using Arista and Aruba products.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of networking solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to address customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their networking needs are met and exceeded.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and technical documentation for potential clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies, particularly Arista and Aruba.
- Provide training and support to internal sales teams on networking product features and benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales solutions specialist role, with a focus on networking technologies.
- Proficiency in Arista and Aruba networking solutions.
- Strong understanding of data center architecture and networking principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as ACSA (Arista Certified Support Associate) and ASAP (Aruba Certified Solutions Associate) are preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
