We are a established, growing construction company in the Los Angeles area. We provide a comprehensive selection of premium, full-service commercial contractor services. We are looking for an experienced Superintendent who has experience with construction ground-up or renovation projects in the healthcare space to join our team.
Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing on-site personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, particularly in health care construction contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and labor resources to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with OSHPD regulations and other relevant health care construction standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Superintendent in the commercial construction industry
- Strong knowledge of OSHPD/HCAI regulations and health care construction standards.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally experience doing structural projects (e.g. pedestrian bridges)
