Position Overview
The Tax Senior will be responsible for overseeing and managing tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a solid understanding of various tax returns and regulations. The Tax Senior will work closely with clients to provide expert advice on tax strategies and ensure adherence to all tax laws.

The Tax Senior will be responsible for overseeing and managing tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a solid understanding of various tax returns and regulations. The Tax Senior will work closely with clients to provide expert advice on tax strategies and ensure adherence to all tax laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax positions and compliance
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff on tax compliance and accounting processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations and any necessary documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance for 1040, 1120, and 1120S returns
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
